About
Hi!
Sadrhino is the blog of Jim Muntone… I’m now going to speak about myself in the third person.
Jim manages the user experience team for a rather large news organization housed in a giant concrete bunker (.25 of a mile end to end) in (mostly) sunny Princeton*, N.J.
Before entering the bunker, Jim has worked as a sandwich maker, vacuum cleaner salesman, history teacher, reporter, editor and, for one, brief, shining, albeit awkward day, a door to door knife salesman.
Jim is also a musician. No really. He started playing piano sometime around third grade and has been in bands since his early, early teens. Maybe tweens even (though back then we just said “twelve” which is far less hipster sounding than “tween”). More recently he played in El Kabong and Subg which may be bands you’ve heard of if you live near the aforementioned large concrete bunker in Princeton. Currently he’s playing with Retrojunk.
Look, I don’t make up the names.
Jim has two wonderful boys and tends to listen to Fake Plastic Trees by Radiohead, over and over again. I dunno, it just makes sense to him.
The best advice Jim could offer is; Be young even if it kills you…and don’t worry about the proper use of semi colons. No one will know the difference.
If he could offer you a third piece of advice, he’d say, eat whatever the hell you want, at least for a little while, ya know, until you became unhealthy, because, it would really suck if you died and all you had to show for it was a belly full of lentils.
*Princeton – For those of you who don’t live in New Jersey, “Princeton” is what people in central New Jersey say to Non-New Jerseyites to try to convey the sense that we come from the part of the state (even if we don’t actually live anywhere near Princeton) that doesn’t have anything to do with Cake Bosses, mobsters or “the Situation.”
