Planes, searching and photoshop
Posted by Toner under: Nerd Culture; UX .
An interface to die for, the cockpit of the Airbus 380.
Nice piece on Boxes and Arrows about why Advanced Search is the “ugly step-child” of interaction design. And a corresponding interview with Amanda Spink (Professor Info Technology Queensland University of Technology) which has some great insight into how people search. Normal people mind you, not, mutant info-pros from planet Dorkcom.
Finally, learn how to suck less at photoshop. The voice over has to be Dane Cook– which makes me wonder what the marketing angle is… Hmmm… Not safe for work, btw. A little bad language.
See, that’s like a whole day of fun, just from stopping by sadrhino.
